HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?
Silent Mammoth and HERO Mammoth come in size small and large. These are based on the distance from the tip of your nose to the back of the nose (where your nostril creases)
If you measure 0.85"/23 mm or LESS, order a small
If you measure 0.9"/24 mm or MORE, order a large
HOW DO I USE SILENT MAMMOTH?
Putting in your new nasal dilator is easy. First, wash your hands! Then grasp by the center section, put the small curves near the tip of your nose, and rotate up and in. It should seat comfortably in the tip of your nose, and settle into the narrow part of your nostrils. If visuals are more your thing, click HERE for a video.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
We recommend changing out your Silent every 60 days, after an illness, or if you notice any breaks or tears in the silicone coating.
HOW DO I USE HERO MAMMOTH?
HERO's wearable air filtration technology attaches to Silent Mammoth, so put that in first!
Grasp by the bulb on the outside with the flat portion towards your upper lip. Gently "hook" your HERO on to the Silent Mammoth, then adjust your fit by pressing both sides until you get a good seal with no noticeable air flowing through.

ARE THESE REALLY COMFORTABLE?
Yes! Dr Fournier wears her Silent Mammoth/HERO Mammoth under her masks during long overnight shifts, and both of our founders wear Silent Mammoth on long hikes. We forget they're there!
WHAT IF IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME?

ARE THEY WASHABLE/REUSABLE?
Silent Mammoth (the part you put into your nose, to help you breathe better by opening your airways) is washable (hot soapy water) and reusable. We recommend washing it after every use, letting it dry, and then storing it in the tin it comes in.
HERO Mammoth (the filters) last a variable amount of time, depending on use. We recommend replacing it if its visibly soiled, gets wet, or after 10-12 hours of constant use as a sole filter. You could use a UV light between uses, as well-similar to what many do with surgical masks.
WILL IT HELP WITH ALLERGIES/COVID/BRONCHITIS/ETC?
Any specific questions about medical conditions should be discussed with your physician.
Silent Mammoth does help more air move through the nose, and HERO's filter is a MERV-13 level, which should block particles over 3 microns if used properly.
WHAT ABOUT MASKS?
We recommend, and follow, CDC masking guidelines ourselves. HERO is designed to provide extra protection under a mask (most masks are not airtight, nor provide this level of filtration) OR to be worn alone if you're out and about by yourself but still need protection from air pollution.
